Destinations
A place that already feels like the day
OHH! WEDDING is not a venue. It is internationally oriented: destination choice is not conceptually limited to Italy. Places are selected for the celebration — who is coming, how they arrive, how private the days should feel, and whether the wedding is one evening or several.
Italy is currently the first and strongest published destination expertise, and the only country with a dedicated guide on this website. Within Italy, the house currently evaluates eight destination areas — each a different wedding environment, not a child website. Celebrations elsewhere can be designed through conversation. Additional destination guides may be developed over time, when there is enough real material to be useful.

Italy
The country map: how guests arrive, where they sleep, whether a property can be held, and how a multi-day programme actually moves. Not a catalogue of estates. Destination weddings in Italy is the full guide.

Eight geographies the house currently evaluates
These are destination areas inside the published Italy expertise — lake, countryside, south, coast, lagoon, mountain, capital and island. Each asks a different question of hotels, transport and how long guests should stay. Named venues are not listed as partners.
Lake Como
Hotels and villas sit close along the shoreline; boats, steep access and coaches do not. Arrivals usually come through the Milan airport system. A multi-day programme works when water and road are one plan.

Tuscany
Estates and villas can hold several events at one property if the beds and kitchens are real. If not, guests scatter and the driving becomes the outline. Florence and Pisa are the usual gates.

Puglia
Masserie in olive countryside, with the coast close enough to use, suit a property-led luxury wedding in the south — space, a few days, and a house that can hold more than dinner. Bari or Brindisi, then the transfer: the estate is the plan. Specific masserie are sourced for the brief, not listed here as partners.

Amalfi Coast
Cliffside hotels and private properties sit on roads that do not forgive a large coach at the wrong hour. Whether the group stays in one town — and whether water is used at all — depends on the stretch of coast. Boats are not a default solution.

Venice
Palazzi, the lagoon and the islands ask for water taxis, porters and a luggage plan before anyone thinks about a dress. The city is already a ceremony — and already public. Privacy is hours, scale and which island the group actually sleeps on.

Dolomites
Mountain hotels and resorts can hold an alpine weekend when season and weather are honest. A buyout is useful where the property will sell it; many will not. Transfers are by road, and the indoor rooms matter as much as the view.

Rome
A historic city with hotels that already know international arrivals, and Fiumicino as a familiar long-haul gate. Urban logistics — cars, dress, a ceremony that does not become a tour — are the work. Nights in the same city before or after can sit beside the celebration.

Sicily
An island, not one address. Coast, countryside estates and resorts sit in different destination areas, with different airports and driving times. Guests usually need more than a single night; two areas are two logistics plans.

The country is not the first question
The first questions are practical and human: the season, the number of people, whether guests fly from one city or many, whether the ceremony is religious, legal or private, and whether the group should stay on one property.
Then the house looks at airports, driving times, hotels that can hold the group — or a buyout — and rooms that can actually be used in that weather. A beautiful photograph is not a plan.
If the right answer is Italy, there is already a map of how the house works there. If the right answer is elsewhere, the same method applies — researched for that brief, not claimed as a finished country guide.
Beyond Italy
International by orientation, Italy by published expertise
The website is built so other destination guides can be added later. Until they exist, an enquiry outside Italy is still a conversation — not a claim that OHH! WEDDING is already expert everywhere.
