Masseria Calderisi in Savelletri di Fasano: the white masseria and grounds

OHH! WEDDING · Puglia

Where to Celebrate in Puglia

There is no single Puglia wedding. A held masseria in the olives, a built village at Savelletri and a house farther south in Salento create different weeks. The place decides more than the backdrop. It changes where people sleep, which airport they use, and whether the sea is a chapter or an assumption.

This is a considered selection, not a venue directory. The Puglia chapter on Destinations remains the geography. Houses are still opened through conversation.

On this reading: when the masseria can be held · when Savelletri is a village · when the countryside, not the beach, is the week · when Salento is a different south · when the house is smaller than the week

When the masseria can be held

Several days inside one house

Best considered when exclusivity is the first requirement — and when the published bedrooms can actually take the nights.

Savelletri di Fasano

Masseria San Domenico

Exclusive let, April–November 40 rooms and suites Coast 500 metres

Masseria San Domenico in Savelletri: the pool and masseria buildings

Why we would consider it

A masseria that officially publishes exclusive let from April to November, two to three nights, on request. The Italian events page states wedding receptions only with exclusive use of the hotel rooms. Forty rooms and suites are published. The restaurant is published at 110 round tables.

What changes the planning

December to March the house offers rooms and restaurant without accommodation. Bari is published at 55 km / about 35 minutes; Brindisi at 45 km / about 35 minutes. Five hundred metres from the Adriatic is not the same as sleeping on the water.

Savelletri di Fasano

Masseria Calderisi

Exclusive use to 120 24 rooms and suites Chapel and beach club

Masseria Calderisi: whitewashed masseria architecture and courtyard

Why we would consider it

Official events copy is unusually clear: 24 rooms and suites, exclusive use for up to 120 guests, a consecrated chapel, and access to a private beach club. That combination — beds, a number, a chapel — is rarer on this coast than a pretty courtyard.

What changes the planning

Twenty-four keys will not sleep 120. Exclusive use of the estate is not the same as beds for everyone who has flown. A minimum-night rule is not published. Airport minutes are not published; shuttles are offered.

Savelletri di Fasano

Masseria Torre Maizza

21 rooms and 19 suites Olive grove to 200 seated Exclusive wings

Masseria Torre Maizza: the Bougainvillea Bar and white masseria arches

Why we would consider it

Rocco Forte’s masseria publishes 21 rooms and 19 suites, and a wedding page with hard numbers: the olive grove seated up to 200 and standing 250; Carosello seated 100. Two clusters can be reserved exclusively — Borgo degli Ulivi up to 22 guests, Borgo Pietra Viva for 10.

What changes the planning

A dinner of 200 and a house of 40 keys are two lists. A full-hotel buy-out is not published. The exclusive wings hold a family, not the olive grove.

When Savelletri is a village

A built place, not a farmhouse

Best considered when the guest count needs more than one masseria can honestly sleep — and when sharing a working resort is faced as a fact.

Savelletri di Fasano

Borgo Egnazia

Corte, Borgo, Ville Village scale Bari or Brindisi

Borgo Egnazia in Savelletri: limestone village architecture

Why we would consider it

The house presents itself as a contemporary Puglian village. An official 2018 MICE PDF still on the domain gives three accommodations: La Corte 63 rooms, Il Borgo 92 rooms, Le Ville 28 villas and one villino, and meeting spaces for 11 up to 500 people. Live 2026 pages do not republish those totals.

What changes the planning

A full buy-out rule is not published on the current site. Without it, a wedding shares a working resort. The 2018 figures are official and dated; they are not collapsed into a 2026 promise.

Savelletri di Fasano

Masseria Torre Coccaro

Rooms, suites, villas Chapel on the estate About 40 minutes

Masseria Torre Coccaro in Savelletri: the historic masseria among olive trees

Why we would consider it

A masseria that publishes rooms, suites and villas — many with private pools — and a chapel on the estate. Official directions give Bari or Brindisi at approximately 40 minutes. Weddings are referred to a dedicated Apulia Collection desk.

What changes the planning

An estate key total is not published. Exclusive use is not published. The beach clubs belong to the same family geography; they are a movement, not a promise that everyone sleeps where they swim.

When the countryside, not the beach, is the week

Olives first, the sea as a chapter

Best considered when the celebration should live inland — and the Adriatic is planned, not assumed.

Ostuni

Masseria Le Carrube

19 suites Ostuni countryside Bari or Brindisi

Masseria Le Carrube near Ostuni: the white masseria courtyard among the countryside buildings

Why we would consider it

Official copy gives 19 suites in the Ostuni countryside, Bari at 90 km / one hour, Brindisi at 48 km / 40 minutes. A celebrations desk is published. This is an olive-grove week, not a Savelletri beach address.

What changes the planning

Wedding guest numbers and exclusive-use rules are not published. Nineteen suites will not hold a 100-person list overnight. Anyone beyond the house is an Ostuni distribution problem.

Monopoli

Il Melograno

Historic masseria Events without a stay Beach club, ten minutes

Il Melograno in Monopoli: the historic masseria seen from above

Why we would consider it

A historic masseria inland of Monopoli that officially sells destination weddings, intimate weddings and elopements. The events page states that couples who do not need to stay can use the garden, courtyard and indoor hall. A free shuttle connects hotel guests to the beach club in ten minutes.

What changes the planning

A room total is not published. Exclusive use is not published. A wedding that does not sleep on the estate is immediately two addresses: the dinner, and wherever the list actually wakes.

When Salento is a different south

Not the Fasano strip

Best considered when the week should sit nearer Lecce, Otranto or the Ionian — and Bari is no longer the obvious door.

Otranto

Baglioni Masseria Muzza

41 rooms and suites Salento countryside Otranto shuttle

Baglioni Masseria Muzza near Otranto: the white masseria terrace and pergolas

Why we would consider it

Official homepage wording: 41 rooms and suites in a restored masseria near Otranto. That key count is large enough, on paper, to hold a mid-size international inner list in Salento rather than on the Fasano strip.

What changes the planning

Wedding guest numbers and exclusive use are not published. A free shuttle is published toward Otranto and the coast. Airport minutes are not. This is a different arrival from Savelletri.

Manduria

Masseria Potenti

Masseria Potenti in Manduria: the masseria courtyard and buildings

Why we would consider it

A family-run masseria that officially pitches multi-night weddings and indoor spaces for events of up to 200 people. Brindisi is published at 45 minutes; Bari at an hour and thirty. The estate rolls toward the Ionian, not the Adriatic strip.

What changes the planning

A room total is not published. A formal buy-out rule is not published. Two hundred at dinner and an unpublished bedroom count are not the same plan.

Lecce countryside

Masseria Trapanà

Weekly private hire Saturday to Saturday Ten minutes from Lecce

Masseria Trapanà near Lecce: the stone masseria and garden

Why we would consider it

Official private-villa copy is unusually hard-edged: the masseria can be rented as a private villa on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday, throughout the year, including Christmas and New Year. Full staff can be included if requested. Ten minutes from Lecce; ten minutes from the Adriatic.

What changes the planning

A suite count is not published on the first-party pages used for this brief. A Saturday–Saturday week is a calendar, not a Saturday dinner. Guest numbers are not published.

When the house is smaller than the week

A held palazzo, a town residence

Best considered when the inner list can live inside a small house — and everyone else is an honest second address.

Gagliano del Capo

Palazzo Daniele

Full palazzo, 1 Nov–15 Mar 9 or 11 suites Capo di Leuca

Palazzo Daniele in Gagliano del Capo: the historic palazzo and pool

Why we would consider it

At the tip of the heel, the official site offers the entire palazzo as a private residence from 1 November to 15 March — suites, frescoed saloons, spa and pool. The same homepage states both “all 9 suites” and “the 11 suites.” Both sentences are printed; they are not reconciled here.

What changes the planning

Summer exclusive use is not published. Wedding guest numbers are not published. This is a winter buy-out at the end of Salento, not a Fasano weekend. Minimum nights are not published.

Lecce

La Fiermontina Luxury Home

Exclusive hire Civil ceremony language Lecce old town

La Fiermontina in Lecce: the garden, pool and town residence

Why we would consider it

Official English copy: sixteen spacious rooms, three Suites à côté, and four themed rooms at the Fiermonte Museum. The entire residence can be hired exclusively. The wedding page states that the house can serve as the Town Hall for civil or symbolic ceremonies.

What changes the planning

A guest-count is not published. This is a Lecce town house with a garden and pool, not an olive-grove masseria. Inventory is spread across the residence and museum rooms. Minimum nights for exclusive hire are not published.

How Puglia sorts itself

What these twelve houses already make clear

Houses with a published exclusive-use or exclusive-let sentence on this page are San Domenico, Calderisi, Torre Maizza’s two wings, Trapanà, Palazzo Daniele in winter, and Fiermontina. A full-hotel buy-out at Torre Maizza or Borgo Egnazia is not published on the live pages used.

Published bedroom counts sit at San Domenico (40), Calderisi (24), Torre Maizza (21 + 19), Le Carrube (19), Masseria Muzza (41), Fiermontina (16 + 3 + 4), and Palazzo Daniele (9 or 11). Coccaro, Melograno, Potenti and Trapanà do not publish an estate total on the pages used.

Published gathering figures include Calderisi exclusive use to 120, Torre Maizza’s olive grove to 200 seated / 250 standing, San Domenico restaurant 110 round tables, Potenti indoor events to 200, and Egnazia’s 2018 meeting spaces to 500. Those numbers are not interchangeable with beds.

Guests still enter through Bari or Brindisi, as on the Italy Destinations page. Savelletri is one arrival. Manduria, Otranto and Gagliano del Capo are another. How they then move is the guest-logistics problem, not a backdrop.

How the house uses this

Conversation, not a directory

This is a considered editorial selection. Suitability depends on the brief: who is coming, how many days they stay, and what the house can honestly hold. Availability, capacities and operating conditions are confirmed for the specific celebration.

Private concierge

The venue is only the beginning

Where everyone stays, which airport they use, whether the sea is a chapter, and how the celebration moves through several days in one house, are part of the same conversation.
